Favorite things- Skincare

So, after the debbie downer update post, I thought it would be nice to talk about some things that I am freaking loving right now.

So, I'm going to be honest with you. I've struggled to keep with a skincare routine in the past. I'm one of those people, that if I don't see results immediately, I get bored and go back to wiping my face clean with Costco Makeup Removers and slathering some St. Ives Moisturizer on and calling it a day.

BUT, I have finally found products that I LOVE and so now, I get excited to wash/moisturize my face. Is that weird? Probably.

Okay, first up: Cleanser.

I have jumped on the oil cleanser bandwagon. I have kind of naturally oily skin, so, I always avoided these in the past. But, holy shit, they are amazing.

They really clean my skin, get all my eye makeup off and leave my skin glowing and fresh looking.

My favorite is the Sunday Riley:

It's a little pricey, so, I've also been using the Clinique Brand Cleansing Oil:

Next up: Old Lady Skin Prevention

After I've cleansed and dried my face, next I use an alpha beta peel regiment, to slough off the top layer of my skin and hopefully prevent me from looking too much like my age.

(I use Extra Strength)

This is a two step process. You use one wipe all over your face, let your face dry, and then use the other wipe. (In the correct order). This stuff is not cheap. It's not. I lucked out caught a 90 day supply at Nordstorm's yearly sale, and got it at a half-way decent price. Now, since my skin is naturally a bit on the oily side, I have had no issues with peeling from this product. But, if you have dry skin, start out with using it every other day and probably try the Universal instead of the Extra Strength. (I started with the Universal).

Next: Serum-y stuff.

Full disclosure: If you try one thing from this post, try this. This is the one thing that I ran out of, and was like.. meh... not going to re-order and then after a couple of days, I was like, OMG, my skin is not the same. So, I immediately re-ordered and rushed shipping on it. This stuff tingles a little when you put it on clean skin, but it is so plumping and leaves your skin so dewy, it's amazing! If I won the lottery I would buy this in bulk and just sit in a tub of it every day.

I also feel like it's making my enormous pores smaller and tighter (if that's even possible. If not, then it's just making them look smaller).

I don't know what Lactic Acid is, but, I honestly, don't care. It's amazing.

Lastly: A Moisturizer.

I actually haven't found my holy grail moisturizer yet. So, if you have any suggestions, let me know!

Have a great holiday weekend, everyone!

5 things.

1. I finally signed up for the marathon that I am running/hobbyjogging/walking/crawling through in about 10 days. Thankfully, our hotel is within walking distance of the race, so, I will just let everyone know NOT to wait around on me, to go back to the hotel, shower, go to lunch, have a few beers, and then HOPEFULLY I will be able to join them for dinner. Or ya know, they can visit me in the hospital or whatev.

2. I am hesitant to even mention it, but, I think I might just FINALLY be motivated to get my shit together. I signed up for the legit weight watchers last week (not just the fake app that I used with success last year) and I'm still trying to get into consistent strength training. Along with that, I'm also trying to set some personal and career goals and it feels good to be giving myself control again. Too often, I get caught up in the mundane and find myself just floating along and bebopping through time without really being PRESENT in my life. So, that feels good.

3. I've started wearing a headlamp in my early morning weekday runs and everyday I am utterly baffled at how we ever ran at this same time of day, same time of year, same park without one before.

4. The KoB and I have started watching American Horror Story. We've finished the first season and are about halfway through the second. Generally, I am strictly opposed to all things scary. But, I am finding this show really enjoyable. It's spooky. But, not nightmare provoking. (After I saw The Ring, I couldn't sleep with my light off for like 9 days. It was bad).

5. One of my favorite things about Weight Watchers it their social media section called Connect. Everyone on there is talking about something called Halo Top. Normally, I'm not really into "diety" foods. I'd rather eat a little bit of the real thing that has ingredients that I can pronounce. BUT, ice cream is one of my favorite things. And considering a HALF CUP (which is like... why even bother getting up off the couch to scoop out a half cup?) has more than 1/3 of my allocated points for the day. I think I might have to give this low cal ice cream a try. Anyone else had it??

Update on last week's non-plan running plan

So, last week. I actually met my goal!! I did my little 30 minute runs and I did one "long" run of 9 miles. And I feel great about it.

This week, I'm shooting for the same thing, but inching it up to 40 minutes for most of the runs.

Other highlights of the week/weekend...

 Yahtzee Thursday

Beer and Scratch-Offs Friday

Leo out in the Corvette Sunday

Not pictured:

Going to Home Improvement Stores twice in one weekend to get PLANTS and FLOWERS and FRUIT BUSHES. Seriously, I'm obsessed with using The KoB's outdoor space for vegetables and flowers.

Getting a new remote entry clicker programmed for my car. WAHOOOOOOO!

Watching the movie Snowpiercer:
Really good.
Really disturbing.

It was a good week and a great weekend.

Regularly scheduled posting will resume shortly...

April 15th has come and gone.

I spent Saturday-Wednesday morning in Arizona for work.

My set up while I was there.
Yup, that's a folding chair.
When I was working my laptop was actually higher than normal,
so my shoulders were killing me after about 10 minutes of typing.
I spent one 15 hour and two 13 hour days right there.

 The drive into the "office."

The view out the window of the office.

The last day I was there, one of the
office workers brought in her puppy.
So, that was a definite morale booster.

The trip was fine and while it included very long hours in a folding chair, the work was easy. It was really hard being away from my office the week of April 15th. I had to catch a 6:15am flight out of Phoenix on Wednesday morning just to be able to get back here in time to wrap up extensions and last minute filings.

I'm pretty exhausted. And normally, April 16th, our office is closed, but I have to work to catch up from being gone. Blarg.

In other happenings... My knee was feeling much, much better until I drove for an hour on Tuesday night. Something about the position of sitting while driving really jacks it up. So, I don't know. I did manage to jog a few miles on the treadmill one morning while I was away and it felt OK. Not great, but OK.

Aside from work, I've had kind of a rough go of things lately. I mean, in the grand scheme of things, I can't really complain too much... but emotionally I am a mess. In the past couple of weeks, I've had a tragic experience with a stray dog on the side of the road (I didn't think quick enough to stop immediately, so, I had to go to the next exit to turn around and loop back, and I didn't make it time. Heartbreaking. I still can't even really think about it).

And late last Thursday, my phone started blowing up with texts/calls from my best friends from college. One of our friends and brothers (we were all in an honor fraternity and guys and girls referred to each other as brothers. weird, I know) committed suicide. And while, I haven't seen him since I graduated college almost 13 years ago, it still hurts and breaks my heart. Taking your own life because you feel like that's the only chance you have to be at peace, is the most tragic thing I can think of. I'm so sad that he was in that place.

I'm sad and tired and stressed and I just really need something happy and good right now.

And lucky for me, there is something on the agenda.......My brother is getting married this weekend!!! So, that is exciting. It's the first wedding in my immediate family, so, it's a pretty big deal. And weddings are always such a happy occasion, I'm excited to get to celebrate it. And even though they've been together something like 10-12 years, this whole thing does make me feel like I'm officially gaining a sister, which is nice. I always wanted a sister.

I'm ready for this dark cloud of sadness to get booted away and I am sure that a weekend surrounded by love and family is just the ticket.

Happy Friday!

Me.

Some Updates:

My knee is still fucked up (from falling last week). Not like, I need a wheelchair fucked up... but, fucked up enough that stairs and hills and running fast (relatively speaking) still hurts like a bitch.

I ran a race last Saturday, which was DUMB DUMB DUMB. My knee killed me and I should have turned around at the one mile mark. But, instead, I pushed through the pain (sodumb, so very very dumb) and finished. I can't say that my knee really slowed me down all that much, honestly, I probably ran faster, cause I was trying to get done with the damn thing so that the pain would stop.

If I could avoid stairs for like 2 days, I swear, it would better. Hopefully I can make that happen soon.

Still plugging along at work. The next week is going to be pretty hellacious for me. But... the good news is that time goes by fast when you are busy, right? RIGHT.

Have a great weekend guys and I am looking forward to Tax Season being over and having more time to dick around on the internet and blog!!!!

Thanksgiving Weekend

I hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving weekend! I spent my Thanksgiving with my family at my Uncle's house. And most of my day was spent keeping an eye out for opportunities to hold my Cousin's 1 year old.

The only picture that I got of him.
Baby bum! Too cute! Little stinker.

Friday I spent putting up my Christmas Tree and helping my mom put up her Christmas Tree.

The Christmas Tree is seasonal decor.
The dog and the mess are year round.

And Saturday and Sunday, The KoB and I FINISHED painting his house! It was a glorious feeling to throw the last rollers away (well, at least until it's time to tackle the kitchen and bathrooms). We celebrated on Sunday with a gourmet meal...

Nothing says fancy like a meal of cheesy eggs, potato salad,
a half pint of Old Charter, and of course... The Champagne of Beers.
All served on an aluminum fold up table.

And then to top things off... a ride in the Corvette was in order.

That's Mr. Bloom's... "but, I thought I was going to get to drive" face.

It was a great weekend to kick off the holiday season. I'm officially ready for Christmas and Hanukkah now!

Coffee Talk: NYCM

When I first got into running, I was a Runner's World subscriber. After about 3 years of the same articles regurgitated over and over again: (Your fastest 5K yet! Lose weight to Run Faster! Winter Gear that is too Expensive to Actually Buy!), I cancelled the subscription. But, honestly, Runner's World was my only resource for goings on in the Track and Field world. As such, I became a pretty big Kara Goucher fan.

She had it all... she was fast, pretty, and had a "fit" body. She was the girl next door elite runner. And she was kind of the face of Elite Women's Marathoning.

Fast forward a few years and now I pretty much can't stand her. First of all, I am disgusted by Oiselle and it's CEO Sally. That's another discussion for another day, but, because of her sponsorship with them, I was quickly turned off of her. Second of all, I just stopped getting a vibe from her that she's passionate about racing anymore. This is purely subjective, but it just feels like she's all about the $ and the fame.

That being said, I actually find myself kind of sticking up for her after the NYCM this past weekend. WHICH MAKES ME WANT TO TAKE A SHOWER AND HANG MY HEAD IN SHAME. Yes, she cried on camera. Yes, she didn't live up to the hype that she created, and Yes, she had a bad day, and even without that, I don't think she would have ran the race that she claimed she was ready for. But, I kinda want to talk about all those things.

Crying after the race in an interview:
Okay, so, Yes... running is her JOB. Crying on the job is unacceptable and unprofessional. I completely agree with that. Have I ever cried at work? Not at my desk, but, I have excused myself to the bathroom and burst into tears MANY TIMES. Thankfully, I have that luxury of being about to jet off into the ladies room and compose myself before going back out to work. I don't have someone sticking a microphone and a camera in my face asking me about the terrible thing that JUST happened.

Is it inspirational that she cried? HELL NO.
But, is it something to criticize her for? I don't think so.

She didn't live up to the hype that she created:
We live in a hype-driven world. Pre-race should she have tempered her expectations? Absolutely. Should she have just said something like... "Oh, I really hope that my training has put me in a position to race well on Sunday, blah blah blah" without actually predicting finish times? Yup. Absolutely. But, again, this is her JOB. People (sponsors) want to hear that she's confident that she can do it. When a potential new client tells me, "I need this by 2pm on Thursday. Can you do it?" I don't say, well, with my education and experience I hope I can fulfill your needs. No. I say, "You bet. Let's do it." which brings me to the next point...

She had a bad day:
I don't know about you, but occasionally, I fuck up at work. Sometimes I tell a client that I'll have something for them by a certain day and it just doesn't happen. Or sometimes I just make a mistake. And as a professional, I have to man up and tell them that I didn't meet expectations and explain how I am going to fix it. IT SUCKS. But, it happens. And sometimes it's because I bit off more than I can chew, or because I promised something that just ended up not being doable.

I get it. She's an elite athlete, she gets paid to run. She has more natural talent in her pinky toenail than I have in my entire body. We want to think that she's just going to be able to bust her ass, keep her mouth shut, and perform. But, life doesn't always work like that.

I don't think she's an inspiration. I just think she's human. And even though I respect some other runners more... (DESI), her performance and post race interview from Sunday don't really affect the way I feel about her one way or another. And I'm kind of surprised by the hoopla that it's created.

Anyway, to reiterate. I am not a Kara fan and haven't been for awhile now. But Sunday didn't change that one way or another.

What do you think? Did Sunday change the way you feel about Kara? Do you like her? Have I missed the essence of the discussion entirely? Have you eaten as many fun-size Almond Joys at your job this morning as I have?

Let's Discuss.

Random Going-Ons

A couple of weekends ago, The KoB and I made our first "longish" trip in his corvette.

Remember her?

We drove to Red Boiling Springs for a car show that my dad always goes to. It was a little warm out (at that time, there were still some A/C issues with the car) and it was supposed to rain, so we didn't ride without the t-tops, but it was still glorious. The KoB didn't enter his corvette (though, he should have, because he would have won 3rd place!!), but my dad entered his '56 and my uncle entered his '58 (? I actually have no idea) truck.

My dad won a First Place Trophy!

My Uncle also won first place in his division!
Trust me, this IS his excited face.

It was fun.

Then this past weekend, I spent pretty much all weekend cleaning out my old bedroom and closet in my parents house. They are moving soon, so the plan was to just go in there and bag everything up for either the trash or goodwill.

Haha. Haha. Haha.

Well, that's all well and good, but once I started going through things, then it was like... ohhhhhh, I HAD FORGOTTEN ABOUT THIS, I can't throw it away!!!! So, I ended up bringing a bunch of shit home with me, that now I need to sort through and pack away. Ugh.

It was also pretty distracting, because I kept finding things and then sending my friends pics of them. Like, for instance, I had my friend, Pony's Admission Ticket for the MCAT in 2002 and I had a certificate of honor thing that was made out to my friend Dustin. Um. Why?

Also, I found my Fan Fiction Stories that I had written in middle school. I WROTE FAN FICTION, YOU GUYS! You'll never guess for what.... Gone With the Wind. Yup. Serious. My BFF, Stephanie and I were obsessed with Gone with the Wind and we both wrote stories about what happened after the final scene of the movie. I can't believe I just admitted that on the internet.

Speaking of writing, my favorite thing to find was all my college papers. I was an English minor, and I saved all my notes/papers, etc from those classes. I actually miss writing papers about books. Some of my favorites papers were about Macbeth, The Moviegoer, and Hills Like White Elephants (I analyzed the shit out of that Hemingway story). University of South Carolina (Go Cocks!) had some GREAT English teachers.

This REALLY cracked me up.
DON'T YOU DARE RECORD OVER
THE JUDD'S FINAL CONCERT!

I sent this gem of a picture to my best friend Stephanie.

Circa 1993.
We were in this drama program where "classes" were
held in some lady's basement.
I'm not sure why Miss Australia there is wearing a red kimono.
Clearly, there were some artistic/creative licenses being taken.

Anyway, it was kinda fun to be taken back to my elementary, middle school, high school, and college years. I had a serious obsession with the band Oasis and have an entire box filled with magazines where there are articles about them, stickers, all their UK Single CDs, pictures of them printed out from the internet. I mean... it's a little creepy to look back on.

The Oasis of my High School years.
I was pretty sure I'd have the last name Gallagher at some point.
Ultimately, I think I dodged a bullet.

One thing is super clear: I was such a freaking dork. I mean... oasis memorabilia, stamp collections, Gone With the Wind FAN FICTION, I have a shadow box with ribbons and awards and certificates from high school (who hangs that shit up in their room? Weirdo), FFA Jacket, VHS tapes with SNL episodes and music videos recorded on them. RIDICULOUS.

All, I can say is... While I am still pretty damn dorky... at least I recognize that now. And if anyone needs a English paper written... call me.

Other Stuff

I promise you I am not turning into a lifestyle blogger. It's just that my runs haven't been very "noteworthy" lately and there has been a lot of other stuff going on in my life. So... that's what I'm going to write about.

Mr. Bloom could write a lifestyle blog that would be worth reading.

Probably the most exciting thing that happened last week was a delivery for The KoB.

The KoB's new ride.

Yes, The KoB bought a house and a car in the same month. WHO DOES THAT? To be fair... he only bought the house, so he'd have a garage for her. So...

Here she is topless.
I joked that he needs to get a license plate that says...
"My other woman is a HUMAN."

Turns out, the only thing worse than waiting around a month from the time he looked at the corvette to the time she was delivered.... is waiting around on new tires, the tags, insurance, etc OMFG I just want to ride around in her for more than 10 minutes at time for chrissakes!.

******
I was away in Asheville, NC this weekend for my annual "drinkfest" (which we are now dubbing waterfest, because we are old and lame) with college friends. I'll do a post on that this week, because... ya know... automatic blog content!
 VERT, bro!
I actually just drove to the scenic overlook and
hopped out of MY CAR and took a picture.
No vert running. I'm a lazy sea level runner.

  ******

I am trying to decide whether or not to switch cell phones. I've had an iphone for a couple of years now and it's comfortable and pretty easy to use... but I HATE the email function. The way my email is set up with my work computer and the lack of ability on the iphone to "select all" and delete all old emails... It constantly looks like I have over 2,000 emails.

2,069 emails! UGGGGGHHHH!
So annoying!

But, I do like to facetime my mom and I'm nervous about converting my itunes over to a Droid. Ack! Decisions! The good news is... it's become pretty clear that my phone isn't really all that important to my life. It's nice to have email on it and internet, but really, 90% of my cell phone usage is for texting. So, I could probably deal with having an old school flip phone or something.

******

Something that actually is running related.. I am planning on running 30 miles this week! HOLY CRAP.

Gif, Photo, and Word Dump

I haven't been running much. And you know what? It's been glorious.

Seemed appropriate.

I am basically running with friends and then maybe once or twice for a few miles with my dog during the week for a grand total of 20-30 miles a week. I'm loving it.

This happens most summers (whether I've planned it or not), but, I usually feel guilty and anxious about an upcoming training schedule... but right now? Zero Fucks are given.

I dont even know.

So, I don't have much on the running front to talk about, so, I'm going to take a page out of Blogger 101 and post some random bullshit.

Remember the J Crew pants that I lusted over and the Zara look-alikes fiasco?
 Never Forget.

Well, the original pants that sparked this whole thing went on final sale at JCrew. I tried on a pair at the store last week for shits and giggles and GUESS WHAT, bitches??? They actually fit right!!!! I needed a bigger size for my waist, so I ended up ordering them online, but they are wonderful and I am so excited to get my winter, trendy pants just in time for summer. But, whatev! Under $40 bucks with shipping!!

Selfie.
Bwahahahahahah.

I am also obsessed with this
Tesla Model S

I am not a "car" person. I feel claustrophobic and too low to the ground (I spend enough time low to the ground when I'm standing, for chrissakes). But, this car.... this car is DREAMY. And since I can't afford this one...

Just a Ferrari F12.
No big deal.
The only sports car I would consider buying if I won the lottery.

I think I would actually consider buying a Tesla (I made it sound like I could afford the Tesla, HAHAHAHAH. No. Saving up).

I just downloaded the Rumours CD from Fleetwood Mac this week and spent about 20 minutes reading the wikipedia page on it, which then led me to spending an hour looking at photos of Stevie Nicks from the 70s. Because... well....

Obviously.

Gold Dust Woman is one of my top 5 favorite songs ever and quite possibly my favorite song to drive to. And of course I know most of the songs on the CD already, but damn... it is just a kick ass album. The production is so good and the harmonies and the songs. LISTEN TO IT NOW.

I finally did it. After years of complaining about the beige hell that I live in, I've started painting my entire place (except my bathroom and bedroom). Walls and trim.

The before: Walls, floor, trim all the same horrifically boring color

See, even with his Menorah... Leo is sad in Blandsville.

And the in progress:
A slate-y color that is called "Antique Tin"
White trim, etc.
The mess was included with the paint.

It is making me so damn happy. But also pretty damn stressed, because, it's going to be awhile before I can completely finish the project (dog, work, life, laziness, high ceilings) and I can only handle the mess for so long before I start to go apeshit.

or cat pissed.

Well, I think that's all the stuff I have to talk about... Have a great weekend!

P.S. just because...

Can you ever get sick of looking at
Stevie Nicks circa 1977?
No. Never.
Anyone else find it ironic that she's drinking
out of a "coke" cup?

The Business of Blogging

Or... alternate title... My non-business of blogging.

Over the weekend I received an email from another running blogger. First, let me say that I LOVE getting emails from bloggers, readers, etc. I average about .0003 of such emails a month, so, when I get one, I get very, very excited!
Re-enactment.

I opened the email and read it. The emailer said they liked my blog (obvi) and then briefly described their blog and asked if I would check it out and if I liked it, if I would post a link to their blog on my blog. Blog blog blog.

Uh. What? First of all, my blog seriously has about 10 regular readers. Of those readers, 1 is my boyfriend, and there are like 7 others who are friends of mine in real life. My mom doesn't even regularly read my blog anymore. Trust me, by having a link to your blog on my blog, you are not going to get anymore traffic. Furthermore, the people's blogs who I do link, are friends of mine or awesome runners that I am jealous of. (And in most cases, both. I'm still waiting for the Best Friend invite from Kris Lawrence).

Anyway, the email just kind of set me off. I realize that this probably happens a lot in that whole "blogging business world" (Whatever the fuck that is). But, clearly, this grammar butchered, mostly written in passive tense, gif-riddled blog is not a "business blog." THANK GOD. And I honestly don't care who links to my blog or reads my blog, or whatever.

Which got me thinking... why do I waste time on this blog then?

1. Well, of course, a big part is flat out narcissism. I like me. I like writing about me and I hope you like me and like reading about me!

2. It's like a dumb diary/detailed training log.

3. It gives me a reason to collect gifs and share them with my friends. (This is actually moving up to #1).

4. As embarrassing as it is to admit... I actually enjoy writing and because I can't finish half of the bazillion short stories I've started, this gives me a chance to practice "writing" and finding my voice and all that writing bullshit.

Do I want this blog to turn into my full time job? HELL TO THE NO. I enjoy working and I enjoy being able to write whatever the hell I want, when I want. I do not envy full-time bloggers at all.

Do I want this blog to get me a book deal? HAHAHAHAHAHAH. About what? gifs? about being a mediocre runner? Uh. No thanks. A book of my shitty college poetry? or a book of incomplete short stories? Still, no.

Do I want this blog to get me free shit? What? Like janky protein powder, stupid race themed jewelry, or a vitamix? No thanks. Full disclosure: I did once receive a case of Pom juice in the mail. And then I drank them and didn't blog about it.

I don't mean to pick on this person who emailed me. They may have an absolutely amazing blog and they could have very pure intentions of just trying to meet/find other like-minded bloggers. But, I haven't checked out their blog and I probably won't because it just feels so... icky.

File this under: A regular Tuesday night
between me and The KoB.

So, I don't know. I'm not even sure why I wrote this post. I guess to remind myself why I enjoy blogging. Sure, I love meeting other runners and bloggers. But, I have no interest at all in doing it for "networking" purposes.

/rant.

Links

This is possibly the most awkward, worst interview I've ever seen. It's so awkward, that I almost feel bad mentioning it, because I'm kinda embarrassed for the interviewer. Like... be prepared if you are going to interview SCOTT JUREK, dude. ugh. ANYWAY, I'm still linking it, because I like Jurek (remember, we are meant to be BFFs) and I'm hoping he does well tomorrow.
Also, KoB, the house in the background will
now always be the house I picture you living in
when you talk about Leadville, so...

I was yelling at the screen watching this video last night...
Good stuff.

At this point, I'm sure everyone has seen this comic, but, I think it's great and I'm going to link it anyway:

Have a good weekend everyone!

You can find me...

...At the intersection of stress and hormones.
Random Shit for a Friday:

1. I'm running a 5K tomorrow. For better or worse this week's workouts have not been so conducive to a PR attempt tomorrow. But, what the hell, I'll push for it anyway.

2. I have been running in the Nike Vomero's a bit and while I like them okay, they are a little tight for my wide as fuck feet.

3. Speaking of shoes, the Nimbus 15s are out and WTF they have increased in price ANOTHER FUCKING FIVE DOLLARS. We are now up to $145 MSRP. Ridic.

4. This thread (that I started... threadkiller no more, bitches! holla!) delivers. Quite inspiring.

5. I have been so cranky this spring in regards to the weather. I'm really hoping that today is the last day I'll have to pull out the tights to run in. I keep trying to tell myself to enjoy it while I can, cause in August I'm going to be bitching about the inferno that is Middle Tennesse in the summer... but, ugh. I'm so SICK OF COLD, DAMP, GREY SKIES.

6. I grew up with two older brothers. And when they weren't holding me down on the ground farting on my head or having me hold their GI Joes on a fence post while they shot BBs at them, they were always telling me to quit being so bossy. Seriously, everyone in the family called me the boss (and uhh.. still sometimes do)... so, I felt quite validated when I saw this clip of Sheryl Sandberg on the Daily Show:
yes, yes. That was me.
right. fucking stereotypes.
Boom!
Seriously, though, she's right. It really chaps my ass.
I AM NOT BOSSY, I JUST KNOW WHAT I WANT.

Okay, I'm getting off the soapbox before someone has to yank me down...
Yeah, yeah, I'm done.
Have a good weekend!
