Christmas in Review

Well I for one had a fantastic Christmas and I hope all of you did as well. Greg and I made the trip to my hometown and it was great to spend time with my family. I'm lucky in the fact that I have a really cool family-mom's side, dad's side and in-law side. I think that's kind of rare isn't it?

Last Christmas was the year of running gear, but this year, I just got one running related item. But that's ok because it was much desired and on my wish list. I finally got some running tights! Yeaaaaaay! Check out these sweet babies made by Reebok:

I've been on a long hiatus from running and made the my New Year's resolution to get back into a regular running routine. Well...being the highly motivated overachiever that I am (HA!) I decided to get started a little bit early. So upon my arrival to Memphis from Hendersonville, I set out to run a few miles. It would have been great to wear my new tights on this run, but didn't because it was 77 degrees!!! Yeah. 77 degrees in Memphis on Saturday. I opted for a t-shirt and shorts instead. This morning was back down to a normal winter-time temperature of 33 degrees, but my new tights were in the wash. Sooooo...I guess I'll have to try them out tomorrow.
