It seems like every running blog I visit lately has at least one post dedicated to venting about the weather. Well I want to vent, too!! It's too cold. We've had enough and we want some sun! I don't really even pay close attention to the weather people anymore because as Amy has said many times before, the Super-Mega Storm Tracker 9000Xs and other fancy-named thingamajiggers aren't that reliable.
It might not be so bad if the weather didn't flip-flop as much. Saturday and Sunday were BEAUTIFUL PERFECT DAYS and I made it my goal to be outdoors as much as possible. I did some gardening prep work for spring planting on Saturday and on Sunday, we had a picnic and took naps on a blanket on the lawn. These pale, pasty legs got some sun! It was glorious and left me feeling excited and ready for spring. And then of course, the temperature dropped 45 degrees and it snowed yesterday. Bummer.
This morning's run was freakin cold. I almost didn't make it out of bed and I even told Greg that I wasn't running, but then I started to feel guilty so I got up and put on the layers. My ears were frozen and my nose ran the entire time. Ugh. Cold weather go away!!!
