Ho Hum Running

Running this week has been kind of blah. I'm not sure what it is...I don't really feel like I have any energy or spunk. Sure there will be days like that, but everyday?? Didn't you have a week like that in the beginning of your training, Amy?
Plus my quads are really sore right now and I think its because of the stairs that I started walking again. My office is on the 12th floor and when I think about it and have time, I'll walk up instead of taking the elevator. But the funny thing is, my left quad is a lot sorer than the right. It's a mystery to me.
Aaaaand the speed issue is still bugging me. When I feel like I'm going normal or even a faster pace, my HRM doesn't back me up...it's still telling me that I'm slow as Christmas.

I'm pretty negative today, huh? Well I am looking forward to the 10 miler on Sunday even though it is in Millington (45 minutes away) and starts at 7:00am. I don't even want to think about what time I have to get up Sunday morning.

Hmmm... I think I probably did, but I dont really remember, it seems like so long ago. Maybe its the post first week let down. You go all out the first week and feel awesome about yourself, and then the second week, you're doing the same mileage, but it's not as exciting? I dont know, but I wouldnt worry too much about it... you'll get over the slump soon...having a race this weekend will help!

I've gotten to the point where I don't even think about it anymore (which, frankly, is very very nice).
