The training routine has definitely taken over my life now...
So far this week I've logged 23 miles... all at 5:00am. I woke up every morning this week at 5:00 and ran 5 miles everyday but today, today I ran 3. And honestly, I'm not really hating getting up that early. It's kind of nice. I get up, get my run done, take a shower, have plenty of time to get ready for work and have a healthy breakfast and I think it does give me energy throughout the day and it definitely keeps me in a better mood at work.
Tomorrow I've got a 12 mile long run planned. I'm going to get up a little before 5, so that I can hopefully be at the park and running at around 5:30.
And then, Sunday... I'm undecided about running. Maybe I'll run a few miles, maybe I'll take the day off. I need a day off, so I'll likely do that.
I'm also undecided about Monday. There is a 10k in Franklin that I could run... but.... franklin is almost an hour away... Part of me would just rather get up and get the six miles in on my own instead of driving that far just to run the distance. But who knows, maybe I'll get a wild hair.
