I had planned to run 6 yesterday after work, but I decided to take my rest day instead.
My husband and I are shopping for our first home and I found out yesterday that our situation is pretty good, therefore allowing us to get a nice mortgage rate. So I was in a good mood. Sometimes when I'm in a good mood, I love to run. Other times I like to celebrate with beer and pizza (no you cannot initiate the challenge at this point....that would be cheating). Yesterday, I celebrated with beer and pizza. Oh, and ice cream too (low-fat!) Carb loading is always a good excuse...
That's ok...it was about time for rest day and, as a result, I am feeling pretty good today.
On Fridays I get off earlier than usual-granted I don't have a ton of work that needs to get done immediately. So I'm going to go over to the gym from work and do a longish run of 7-8 miles. I'm hoping that I can experience what Amy did this morning and not notice the time passing by while on the treadmill. At least I can run the indoor track for some of that time.
Then I'm going to shoot for 4 or 5 tomorrow and 6 on Sunday. Sounds like a plan to me.
