Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Warning: This post is going to be mostly non-running related... so, if you're only interested in hearing about my non-PRing and my shit-related running issues, then this isn't going to be the post for you.

For whatever reason... St. Patrick's Day has been my favorite holiday since I was in middle school. So, today is a big day for me... I contemplated calling in sick to work and spending all day at the irish pub down the street... but the possible bar tab scared me away... one of these years, one of these years.

Anyway... I thought I'd share some pics of Ireland and then some pics from my St. Patrick's Day Party from the weekend... Enjoy.

All of these pics of Ireland were taken by me... or... possibly with the dude that I went with, but whatev, I'm just saying I didn't steal these off the internet or anything...

Ahhh... Guinness. The tour is kind of lame... but the beer in the Sky Bar at the top of the storehouse is awesome. The freshest Guinness you'll ever get.

THE Temple Bar. The namesake of the strip of Dublin that is known for it's pubs and restaurants.

And... the River Liffey... or the sniffey Liffey, if you prefer.

And now onto my St. Patrick's Day Party on Saturday night. I bought 3 cases of Guinness, 1 case of Harp, and we had many, many Irish Car Bombs... actually... I think I had 6-7. And yet, I still managed to take some pretty good pics. No drunken lazy eye pics! Hooray!

So, I didn't ask permission of any of my friends whether or not I could post their pics on here... so... I'm just going to let you peruse without names...

I'm pretty sure this was towards the end of the night... It's hard to get pics of multiple people in my place, cause the quarters are kind of cramped... but this worked pretty well...

Again, gratuitous pic of me. I never take good pics... But, this pic is partially running related... because... I'm wearing my medal from the Half Marathon earlier in the day. (Incidentally, I have no idea why we are thumbs upping the camera).

Here's Vandy-Montana's biggest black and tan in the entire world. Pretty sure, it got a little warm before he finished it... but finish it, he did.
